Lake Murray new year’s fireworks

Bring your loved ones to Ardmore this New Year’s Eve to watch the fireworks over Lake Murray. Picnics and car rides can both be accommodated here. If you want to watch the fireworks at Lake Murray State Park, you can park for free at the R.C. Flying Fields launch location, and there will be no enforcement of parking passes. Please feel free to bring your own seating in the form of lawn chairs or blankets. Anyone can attend for no cost because of this. Please join us in celebrating this special occasion.

The Mayor of Columbia, Steve Benjamin, came up with the idea that would become the Famously Hot New Year in 2011. Sponsors like the City of Columbia and Richland County, as well as private partners like BlueCross, BlueShield of South Carolina, Aflac, WLTX, Alpha Media, Dominion Energy, Pepsi of the Carolinas, and Segra, have helped improve the health of our community as a whole over the past ten years.
