The official name of this event is A Southern Times Square at Market Common, and it is a free, family-friendly festival that often draws enormous people from all around the area. The festivities begin at 8 p.m. On New Year’s Eve and feature a wide variety of entertainment, including activities for children, as well as a variety of food sellers and a beer garden to keep the adults occupied. In addition to the stunning fireworks and a ball drop at midnight, there will be live music performed throughout the evening.
Fireworks Myrtle Beach
There will be three different New Year’s Eve party menus available at this Myrtle Beach hotspot. The Myrtle Beach New Year’s Eve Fireworks Extravaganza begins at 8 p.m., lighting up the night sky over Lake Broadway (weather permitting). After the fireworks, head over to Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville for some live music to ring in the New Year with the Paul Grimshaw Band starting at 9 o’clock. Midnight Margarita Shooters, stilt walkers, and party favors will round off the festivities as the clock strikes 2020.
Brookgreen Gardens, New Years’ Eve
The Nights of a Thousand Candles event on New Year’s Eve at Brookgreen Gardens is a tradition that has grown in popularity over the years.
The event, which incorporates hundreds of hand-lit candles, music, and holiday lights to create a lovely festive ambiance, takes place between 4 and 9 p.m., leaving the rest of the evening open for partying.
